About Us

History

TherapyWorks NW is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded with the purpose of providing therapies for children with disabilities who are denied service for financial reasons. Through our founder’s previous experience of owning a for profit pediatric therapy business from 1993 – 2006, we know that disabled children’s therapy needs frequently go unmet. TherapyWorks NW is dedicated to the provision of charitable therapy for the purpose of improving the quality of life of children disadvantaged with physical or behavioral disability.

Who We Are Today

TherapyWorks NW offers traditional physical, occupational and speech therapies for children and the specialization of hippotherapy. Our practice has an experienced therapist staff, therapy aids, and several volunteers. TherapyWorks NW is striving to gain in nonprofit service volume, and engages in grant writing, and fundraising activities.

TherapyWorks NW offers quality therapy and hippotherapy. We operate both fee for service and charitable service programs.

Covid-19 Update 😷

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have new precautions in place as we continue to see patients. We require temperature scans and ask pre-screening questions at each appointment. Handwashing or the use of hand sanitizer is required upon entry. Masks are required indoors in both our clinic and our arena for all staff as well as parents/guardians/visitors. We are disinfecting treatment rooms in between each appointment. Our waiting room is currently closed and we encourage those who can, to wait in their vehicles during the appointment. Your child's therapist will come out to the car at your appointment time. We are also offering teletherapy services.
